A culture built to restrain, to obstruct your thought,
to help find an excuse, for fucking sick behavior.
We've had our wires crossed for far too long,
million dollar advertisements of everything that is wrong.
That devil on your shoulder; not there when you were young.
Our idols false and fallen - corrupt all along.
Using alcohol as an excuse for bad behavior is our societal norm.
It becomes more than just a waste of time when your substance abuse effect others.
Notice the stone thrown into the pond and how far the ripples extend.
Not our own thoughts. Not our culture. We don't choose this. It is sold to us.
